Project: 12,000 square-foot, 400-seat sanctuary with sound facilities, balcony, offices, meeting room, choir room, classrooms, and gathering space

Process: Van Con Design/Build

Accomplishments: Using pre-engineered steel, Van Con was able to clear span the worship space to create the large auditorium with a fan-shaped seating configuration.  Van Con planned for Pleasant Green’s anticipated congregational growth, yet designed the project within budget constraints. Van Con included capabilities for live music during church services, plus offices and a large gathering space for church events. To help the church’s budgeting process, Van Con negotiated a deferment with the City of Trotwood to delay landscaping for a specified time after construction was complete.
