Project: Renovation and expansion of a 30-year-old church and its adjacent buildings including a tough-to-expand octagonal building, with 8 load-bearing walls and corners. The total project scope included 7,000 square feet of space. Process: Van Con Construction Management with Pre-construction services Accomplishments: Van Con successfully expanded interior footprint to increase the seating capacity from 350 to 500, raised the roof over chancel, created new loft behind altar, and Installed state-of-the-art video and sound systems. In addition, Van Con converted the outdoor greeting area into an enclosed lobby and added gurney-accessible elevator leading to church balcony. Van Con also Mounted a 20-ft. aluminum cross on church façade, with backlighting, Landscaped entire campus, including sod and irrigation of 3-acre grounds and installing bollard lighting around parking lots and sidewalks. more > |
